Our new Coral systems are up and running. Sixteen tanks for a total of 900g water volume in two seperate systems. T5HO lighting and our own Bio-Sump design with alternating return lines help us provide the best environment for our corals. Click one of the pictures here for a larger view of the new systems. Aquarium Illusions is the only local store that has a true quarantine facility. We have 4 individual systems (totaling 800 gals+) for quarantining our shipments Each system is independent of each other and of our main systems. We operate a hospital style regime for 2 weeks for every shipment. There are two retail fish systems each equipped with their own filtration systems. Our non coral invertebrates have their own dedicated retail system. This allows us to maintain the water quality at a high level for the health of the inverts. If you've visited with us in the past you'll probably remember our 450g coral display tank.  We had to take it down for our renovations but now it's back!  This tank is Edmonton's largest dedicated rock tank with it's own filtration system and metal halide lighting.	Rock Tank
Aquarium Illusions also carries a wide selection of freshwater fish and plants. We also carry Edmonton's largest selection of high grade koi during the spring and summer.	fw2
Aquarium Illusions carries a very select assortment of water additives and treatments. We only carry products we use in our own systems and can give you very specific guidance based on that experience. Some of the bands we carry include Seachem, Blue Life, Eco Systems and Fauna Marin. We also carry several lines of aquarium equipment for both freshwater and saltwater systems, in this are we also only carry products that we know and trust. The rapid advancement of aquarium technologies in the past few years has really kept us bust trying to keep up with new products but we are always evaluating new advancements.
