The Candy Cane Coral is a large polyp stony (LPS) coral often referred to as Candy Coral. The full circular polyps are commonly found branching out in vibrant green, yellow, or brown colors.
It is hardy and a relatively peaceful reef inhabitant, with very short sweeper tentacles. It requires moderate lighting and moderate flow. It is a fairly hardy coral and a great suggestion for beginner aquarists.
It will benefit from additional food fed weekly in the form of brine shrimp or micro-plankton.
