The Hammer Coral is a large polyp stony (LPS) coral and often referred to as Euphyllia, Hammer Coral or Anchor Coral. This particular species is has an unusual color that can range from peach to orange.
It can be a more difficult coral and is suggested for the more advanced aquarist. Requires moderate lighting and moderate flow. It should be kept a distance from, species of corals and animals and it has sweeper tentacles that can extend a few inches.
It will benefit from additional food fed weekly in the form of micro-plankton or brine shrimp.
