The Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse is a great schooling fish with all the fancy color and none of the stringent feeding requirements that other colorful schooling fish have. Able to be kept in mixed groups, these water column swimmers prefer to be in groups of 3 or more and will seek the safety of the sand when they are frightened or need a place to hide. Ranging in colors from Pink, red, purple and even yellow in fully grown adults. The males tend to have more vivid and striking color patterns than the females. Males and females will usually school together with the occasional exception of some fish preferring to make separate schools. Other common names are Tricolor Lubbock's, Multicolor Lubbock's Wrasse, Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse Easily adjusts to captive diet. Feed a varied diet consisting of finely chopped chunks of meaty foods. These foods include krill, raw table shrimp, squid, clam and mussel. It is also a good idea to occasionally supplement with some type of herbivore diet.
